This looks to be the metal slide version is that right? Also how's the weight if it is the metal slide version?
They are a beautiful receiver just like any ra products definitely top shelf but being a cnc'd receiver it's heaps heavier than my od green gbf cnc'd Bad556 receiver kit, like a really noticeable difference and supposedly the same material but the ra may be thicker in the walls or something i guess

There's nothing wrong with having 2 retro builds, 1 skeletonized receiver indoor set-up and one non skelotonized outdoor rig 😊
And how come you always seem to not use charging handles on alot of builds
We Leave them off our Very high end build to keep them as skele as possible, to see the coloured gearbox inside. We add them in the box just not installed.
@@GelBallUndercover fair enough i thought it had something to do with it not hanging out and being in the way and yeah being more sleek ,i got a similar idea from beastpro about the forward assist bolt, he has little led momentary switches set up as a mag prime on j8's and they look mad with the led light and sleek as so i got a tri colour one and im going to put that on my retroarms receiver and splice it into the wiring but need to use some plugs so it can be unplugged when removing the top half of the receiver

@@GelBallUndercover im howling, brought my little brother a ra gearbox for his birthday and it's going into a tan aps noveske and the bloke at ah tactical had to get some 3d printed cause ra didn't sent any with the gearboxes and they haven't got the side tab with the mounting holes so they have to be glued to one side of the gearbox or use double sided tape and Danny's closed east coast custom blasters and he had spares and Julian at mastrblastr doesn't seem to have any either or xforce tactical so not really sure where to turn or what to do or do i just just save myself the headaches and get him a couple of shaker mags or give him one of my terminal blocks from one of my hpa builds and i use shaker mag's or get tampon string spring mag's 😂

What is the purpose of the "spring retainer screw" that goes through the buffer tube? We failed to install it, as we couldn't figure out how to get it in there properly with a long enough screwdriver. What happens if you try to shoot the gun without the screw in there? Does it damage anything or do we just put the screw in now and the gun should work properly?
